Synopsis
Godha, is a Malayalam sports comedy movie based on Gatta Gusthi, the native form of wrestling. The movie has the upcoming superstar Tovino Thomas and Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles . The movie has an ensemble cast including Renji Panicker , Dharmajan, Aju Varghese , Mamukoya, Hareesh Perady, Bijukkuttan, Pradeep Kottayam, Parvathy etc. Godha is about Anjaneya Das’s (Tovino Thomas) journey to Punjab for higher education and about the subsequent changes that happen in his life after he met a Punjabi girl Adithi (Wamiqa Gabbi) , who was a passionate wrestler. How Adithi changes Das’s perspective towards wrestling and how the backdrop of Das helps Adithi is all what Godha dealing with. The movie is directed by Basil Joseph after "Kunjiramayanam" and produced by E4Entertainment after "Ezra". Music is composed by Shaan Rehmaan.
