Synopsis
Summer. A stolen car. Two Teenagers. This fast paced comic film takes you on a road trip across Eastern Germany. To Maik and Tschick, two unlikely friends, it is their road trip into adulthood. Based on the cult novel Why We Took The Car by Wolfgang Herrendorf, this film is directed by Fatih Akin, one of contemporary Germany's most successful filmmakers.
