Synopsis
Street singer Gypsy, along with his horse Che, travel across the country. In the midst of his journey, he unexpectedly meets and elopes with Waheeda, a Muslim woman. Their new life together is soon disrupted when a communal riot erupts in their town. His horse is burnt alive and the now pregnant Waheeda is separated from Gypsy, who is accused of starting the riot. After his release and losing everything, Gypsy turns to music and hopes to mend his broken relationship and bring peace to victims of the riot.
