Synopsis
Xuke, a primary school teacher in her late 20s, faces urgent gynecological surgery due to irregular bleeding. Her struggle to proceed is compounded not only by entrenched attitudes that prevent her from fully controlling her own body, but also by the sudden arrival of her mother, Hu Chunrong. Forced to share a small rental apartment, the two women from different generations live in constant tension. As old and new values collide, their relationship gradually shifts from estrangement to a tentative understanding.
