Synopsis
A follow-up to Lijo Jose Pellissery's lauded Angamaly Diaries and Ee.Ma.Yau, Jallikattu is a portrait of a remote village where a buffalo escapes and causes a frenzy of esctatic violence. The film continues to narrate the battle between a wild animal and the beast within us. The movie, which received rave reviews at various international film festivals, has already been considered as the face of the changing Malayalam cinema.
