Synopsis
Kodokushi ('lonely death') is a Japanese phenomenon of people dying alone and remaining undiscovered for a long period of time. Norihito works for a company that specialises in cleaning the apartments of the recently deceased. The lonely deaths he encounters pushes him to face his own life, past and family relationships. He meets Muramatsu who spends his days in endlessly repetitive isolation. But, an upcoming Sakura festival might change Muramatsu's faith. Can he find meaning in his existence?
