Synopsis
- The 20th Chinese American Film Festival Golden Angel Award 第20届中美电影节金天使奖 Cheung Hing Kee is a dessert shop in Kowloon City owned by Simon and Mimi. Their daughter Stephy is a flight attendant. Her younger brother Jeffrey is a carefree undergrad. Everything changes when Mimi suffers a stroke, plunging the family into chaos. Stephy quits her job to help her father. Kowloon City is undergoing redevelopment and Cheung Hing Kee faces an eviction. Meanwhile, Stephy's boyfriend Kevin proposes and hopes she’ll move with him to Canada.
