The complete actor Mohanlal announced the re-release in his page - "The Aadu Thoma that you and I held close to our hearts is returning to the big screen with updated visuals in a 4K remaster which will hit theaters worldwide this February" . This is the first time a remaster of a Malayalam movie gets a worldwide release. In Singapore this iconic movie is solely relased by Singapore Coliseum.
