Synopsis

Lion Rock is about Ki Tai-Wai (Lam), an elite rock climber whose life is turned upside down by a fateful event. After a road accident paralyses him from the waist down, it seems that his climbing career is over. However, with the help of his friends, family and climbing coach, Ki finds a way to scale those dizzying heights again. Based on the true story of Hong Kong’s Lai Chi-wai, once a top rock climber in Asia, ranked as high as eighth in the world, who could no longer walk after a motorcycle accident in 2011.
