Synopsis After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he's devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.

Beneath the mask has always been Peter Parker.

After the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker finds himself truly alone. With the world having forgotten who he is, Spider-Man: Brand New Day strips away the multiversal spectacle and shifts the focus back to the man behind the mask, delivering one of the franchise's most personal and emotionally grounded chapters yet.

Still navigating life as New York's friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, Peter struggles to balance the weight of his responsibilities with the loneliness that comes from sacrificing the life he once knew. As new threats emerge, he's forced to confront not only powerful enemies, but also the emotional burden of starting over from scratch.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film stars Tom Holland alongside Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal and Sadie Sink.

This one is for the Peter Parker fans. While the action is as exciting as ever, it's Peter's emotional journey that takes centre stage. Tom Holland delivers one of his best performances yet, perfectly balancing Spider-Man's humour with the loneliness and vulnerability that have always defined Peter Parker. It's refreshing to see a superhero film slow down and let its characters breathe without losing any of the excitement.

And don't worry—the action definitely doesn't take a back seat. The film strikes a satisfying balance between heartfelt moments and exhilarating set pieces, making its runtime fly by. Long-time comic fans will have plenty to smile about too. Brand New Day recreates several iconic comic moments while weaving in subtle nods to Spider-Man's history.

The action doesn't disappoint either. The film balances its emotional beats with exhilarating set pieces, making its runtime fly by.  Long-time comic fans will have plenty to smile about too. Brand New Day recreates several iconic comic moments while weaving in subtle nods to Spider-Man's history.

Heartfelt, exciting and filled with love for the character, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a welcome reminder that Spider-Man has never just been about the suit or the superpowers.
