Ever since David Gordon Green's Halloween made a record-breaking success when it hit cinemas in 2018, production company Blumhouse ordered two more movies to make a new trilogy. The first of those movies is Halloween Kills which will reunite director Green with writer Danny McBride.
Halloween Kills was slated to hit cinemas this coming October, in time for the titular holiday that is widely celebrated in the US but with the recent reveal of a first look at the film by the creator of Michael Myers himself, John Carpenter, comes sad news for fans of the franchise.
If you think having to wait for a full trailer to be released was bad then you wouldn't like what was also announced when Carpenter shared the teaser with his Twitter followers: Halloween Kills has been pushed back a year to Oct 15, 2021 (US opening date).
Nevertheless, here's the teaser to keep us all enticed:
Halloween Kills will pick up just moments after the events of the 2018 film. And now we may know how Michael Myers managed to survive.. again.
