Warner Bros. Just Dropped 'Blade Runner 2049' Official Trailer

By InCinemas  /  09 May 2017 (Tuesday)

Director Denis Villeneuve's 'Blade Runner 2049' has recently released its official trailer starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. Take a look at it below:

In our first official look into this long-awaited film, we are treated with gorgeous cinematography that captures perfectly the post-apocalyptic Los Angeles in 2049 while still retaining the look of the original 'Blade Runner' that was released 35 years ago.

Not much information about the plot of this sequel to Ridley Scott's classic has been revealed to the public, except the synopsis:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

This new trailer, while giving us a taste of the visuals and sound of the film, still left us with more questions than asnwers about its story and characters. However, the gorgeous visuals coupled with the return of Harrison Ford in this cinematic world are enough to keep fans satisfied for now as we eagerly await more details to be unveiled in the coming months.

'Blade Runner 2049' opens in Singapore on 05 October.
