The official trailer for the highly-anticipated animated sequel film Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse has arrived!

In the trailer, Miguel O’ Hara/Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac) tells Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) that “being Spider-Man is a sacrifice” and that he has to choose "between saving one person and saving every world.” As is his nature, the stubborn Morales aka Spider-Man insists that he can do both. “Everyone keeps telling me how how my story is supposed to go,” says Moore’s version of Spidey. “Nah, I’mma do my own thing.”

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is the first of two sequels to its dazzlingly innovative 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, winner of the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. While the original saw Morales traversing the Multiverse with Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) in an effort to take down the villain Kingpin (Liev Schreiber) and save his universe, the new film will have them fend off a threat more powerful than any they’ve ever encountered.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse arrives in cinemas 1 June.
