The Main Cast of “Good Boys” Can’t Watch Their Own Red-band Trailer
By Flora / 12 Mar 2019 (Tuesday)
You’ve seen R-rated films centred around men (The Hangover), women (Bad Moms) and teenagers (Bad Neighbours), but this time, the F-bombs are delivered by children, so young that they can’t even watch the trailer.
The first trailer for “Good Boys” is not age-appropriate for those 21 and under, and that goes for the film’s main cast, for they are too young to watch their performances. And the film’s producer Seth Rogen starts the trailer by bringing the bad news to the young actors.
The R-rated comedy follows 12-year-old friends Max (Jacob Tremblay), Thor (Brady Noon), and Lucas (Keith L. Williams) who are invited to a party and decides to prep themselves by doing some research on their own, to the extent of using a drone belonging to Max’s dad (Will Forte) to spy on their neighbours. The group finds themselves in hot water after the drone has been destroyed and it sets off a string of misadventures as they set off an R-rated journey in trying to right their wrong.
Good Boys is directed by Gene Stupnitsky and is written by The Office alums Lee Eisenberg and Stupnitsky. Other cast includes Molly Gordon, Lil Rey Howery and Christian Darrel Scott.
Good Boys opens InCinemas 7 November 2019!
