[InC-terview] Cast of The Phantom of the Opera

One of the world’s, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most famous musical, Phantom of the Opera makes a stop in Singapore this month, and InCinemas got to speak to some of the cast from the musical! Seen by millions of people all over the world, creating some of the biggest hits such as ‘Think of Me’, ‘Music of the Night’ and of course, ‘The Phantom of the Opera’.
InCinemas spoke to the amazing leading cast of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA - Jonathan Roxmouth who plays Phantom and Meghan Picerno who plays Christine Daaé!
Apart from the fancy costumes, beautiful set pieces and of course, the amazing vocals from the cast, what we were really impressed with were the technicality of the falling chandelier (this is hardly a spoiler!) and the vocals. Lisenting to these trained opera singers belting out numbers one after another, hitting those high notes that could break our champange glasses was just mesmerizing to watch. If there's a musical that you want your mind to be blown, this is it. This is the music of the night.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA tells the tale of a disfigured musical genius known only as ‘The Phantom’ who haunts the depths of the Paris Opera House. Mesmerised by the talents and beauty of a young soprano – Christine, the Phantom lures her as his protégé and falls fiercely in love with her. Unaware of Christine’s love for Raoul, the Phantom’s obsession sets the scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy, madness and passions collide.
