Lesson Of The Evil is based on a bestseller of the same title that won numerous awards in Japan.

The main character is a high school teacher named Seiji Hasumi—a paragon of an educator who solves one problem after another that occur in the school and is deeply trusted by the students and faculty. He is, however, a psychopath, unable to feel empathy toward other people. Extraordinarily intelligent and productive, he manipulates his surroundings and has started to hold sway over the school. To achieve his objectives, he wouldn’t even hesitate to commit murder, if that’s what it takes to get things done. Eliminating the problems at the school and obstacles that get in his way, he leaves a string of dead bodies in his wake.

As the plot reaches its astonishing climax, Hasumi murders every student in his homeroom in order to cover up his mistake!

You'll be surprised after watching this trailer!

Hasumi is not your everyday serial killer. He is not out for revenge or fighting for a cause that people can sympathize with, and he is also not murdering people because it gives him pleasure. He just does not hesitate to kill if logically that is the best way to serve his purpose. To him, the serial killings and the massacre in the film’s climax are merely a means to get things done.

This monster named Seiji Hasumi is inherently “evil.” And the monster finds his way into a closed community called “school.” The students around him try desperately to break free of his evil and fight back for survival.

It is said that Hasumi’s dark appeal that surpasses that of Hannibal Lector in The Silence of the Lambs and the Joker in The Dark Knight and that the storyline which rushes towards the “scourge” of the end will shock the viewers and keep them glued to the screen.

Check out Lesson Of The Evil when it opens 11 July 2013 in theatres!
Note that the movie is rated R21 (Violence and Gore).
