Birds vs Monkeys! Who will emerge victorious?
A scene in the upcoming movie RIO (InCinemas 7 April 2011) shows our protagonist Blu, along with his bird friends, getting involved in a battle with the Monkey tribe. To mimic this unique relationship, an interesting game 'Birds v Monkeys!' has been created to connect the audience to this wonderful story of RIO.
Ooo.. Manima Aryo.. Oompa Oompa Oompa.. With the Hawaiian-like music (which you might get addicted to), the game introduces you to the crew of birds where you can choose 3 to assist you in taking down the irritating monkeys.
Each bird has its own unique build, mainly in terms of speed and endurance in its flight, to help you get as many monkeys as possible. Only when you hit the numbers, can you unlock the next level, which becomes harder. There are 5 maps to be completed.
You gain free credits after each round, depending on your overall results and you can use the credits to upgrade your favourite birds to make them even better (or make them the best)!
I haven't got the chance to complete the 5th level as the cunning white bird, Nigel, appears to attack you and ending your flight prematurely. =( Even my big bird, Pedro, whose endurance and strength is of maximum level, is unable to withstand Nigel's wrath..
