Korean stars Jung Woo-Sung and Han Hyo-joo were in town to introduce their latest movie, Cold Eyes, to an adoring audience at the festival’s massive 4000-seat outdoor screening venue. In the film, Jung Woo-Sung is shadowy criminal mastermind who directs his cronies from the roof of a skyscraper in Seoul. Han Hyo-joo plays a rookie detective who summons her incredible photographic memory to nab the crook who leaves no evidence.
But far from their oh-so-cool appearance in the film, the stars seemed a little star-struck when we saw them last night – perhaps just blown away by the overwhelming shower of love from the audience.
Watching this latest blockbuster with a thousand fans in the cool autumn air was a whole different experience akin to catching a movie at a football stadium. Definitely something to remember!

South Korea’s Haeundae beach is already famous for its eye candy but it gets an even bigger boost to its popularity during the Busan FilmFest, when silver screen stars drop in to chat with fans and soak in the sun!Okay, actually actors Uhm Tae-Woong (Architecture 101, Cyrano Agency) and Kim Min-Jun (A Love, Damo) look like they’re sweating buckets in those jackets they’re wearing. They braved the heat for 45 minutes to field questions from the audience, together with co-star So Yi-Hyun (from the recent police drama Who Are You).
In their recent movie Top Star, the two guys are rival actors who compete for the affection of a beautiful producer. We’re looking forward to seeing the movie soon!
