By Flora  /  28 Dec 2016 (Wednesday)
Carrie Fisher, a talented actress and screenwriter best known for her role as Princess Leia Morgana in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, has just passed away at the age of 60.

She had been hospitalised after a heart attack she suffered during a flight four days ago.

We last saw her performance in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. We will see her last performance in the upcoming Episode VIII, which she had finished filming this summer.

Her families, friends, and co-stars have voiced their condolences on social media. This is a reaction from her co-star, Mark Hamill:

We will miss you, Carrie Fisher. You are always our princess.

Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force.
