Ubisoft, the company behind the popular Assassin’s Creed games, has confirmed that they have plans to adapt the game into a TV series.

Of course, it was already adapted into a film last December, starring Michael Fassbender. However, the film was a critical and financial disappointment, which might affect the plans for the sequel. The TV series can be a good way to start fresh in the reboot-filled Hollywood.

“It’s like the movie guys, we will take our time, to get sure we deliver something we can be proud of, but if you wonder if it’s on our plan… YES,” answered Aymar Azaizia, Ubisoft’s Head of Content for the Assassin’s Creed game in a Reddit AMA.

There are no details about the series yet, such as whether it will be a live-action or animated series. We also do not know if the story and characters will be connected to the film or the games.

We hope the series will have a better luck than the film.
