Singapore (July 25th) – Warner Bros. Pictures’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows– Part 2 has become the highest grossing installment in the Harry Potter franchise in Singapore. 

Only in the second week of its release (14 July – 24 July), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 has earned a staggering S$6,350,251 and counting.

It has eclipsed the previous all time cumulative record of set by the seventh film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, which grossed S$5, 842,282.

The final box office gross takings for the previous Harry Potter installments are:
 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone - S$4,328,389
 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - S$5, 094,638

 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - S$5,801,811

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2
opened in cinemas on 14 July with a total of 107 prints. It is the first Harry Potter film to be released in both 3D and 2D.  Concurrently with its nationwide theatrical distribution, the film is being released on IMAX®.  The film has been digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® through proprietary IMAX DMR® technology.

Below of the post is a special featurette showing the behind the scenes where the cast of Harry Potter bidding farewell to one another. Daniel Racliffe gave his thank-you speech too. "I just want to say that I love every minute (spent with all of you) and I thank you very very much."



It was an emotional moment for the production crew, especially for the threesome, Emma, Rupert and Daniel who had afterall played their characters since the first Harry Potter film back in 2001.
