Randall Park and Daniel Dae Kim are teaming up for a heist film!

Two of Hollywood's leading Asian men are taking the leap from starring in a romcom together to star in a heist f! Randall Park and Daniel Dae Kim last shared screentime together when they both played love interests to Ali Wong's character in the Netflix movie, Always Be My Maybe.
Park and Kim will be reuniting onscreen again as they are partnering for an untitled Asian American-led heist film that will be penned by screenwriter Young Il Kim, who has worked on Showtime’s Billions. The film has been acquired by Amazon Studios.
Details of the film are being kept under wraps but it's reported to be loosely focused on a reunion of high school friends who come together in a nod to the classic, fun ensemble heist films such as Ocean’s 11, The Full Monty and Better Luck Tomorrow.
Park and Kim are old friends and have been always been in sync. In a joint statement, the pair said:
We can’t wait to join with Young to tell this special story of friendship, pride and community. We’re also very grateful to Amazon for their exceptional enthusiasm and support.
