Lady Gaga confirms she's in the 'Joker' sequel!

It's official–Lady Gaga will join Joaquin Phoenix in Joker: Folie à Deux as Harley Quinn!
Rumours were circuling for months that the award-winning singer-songwriter was tapped to star opposite Phoenix in his Oscar-winning role as the Joker in the sequel to 2019's Joker. A new teaser promo of the film she recently tweeted now confirms it.
Gaga will play Harley Quinn — the Arkham Asylum psychiatrist who falls in love with her patient Arthur Fleck aka Joker — though her version will reportedly differ from Margot Robbie's that was featured in Suicide Squad (2016), Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey (2020), and The Suicide Squad (2021).
Director Todd Phillips will also be returning though details to the sequel's plot have yet to be revealed. It is rumoured to be a musical.
Gaga, who received an Oscar-nominated for her role in A Star Is Born (2019), was most recently seen in Ridley Scott's House of Gucci (2021).
