Following a resounding opening weekend success, Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War has set a whole new record to beat in Singapore. 

In just two and a half weeks, Avengers: Infinity War has snapped the records to become Singapore's #1 movie of all-time. The movie grossed S$14.3 million in its 3rd week and is the first film in Singapore to cross the S$14 million, surpassing the previous record of S$13.7 million held by 2012's Marvel's The Avengers. International figures also suggested that the record-smashing movie could make US$2 billion by the end of its theatrical run.

2018 has proven to be a record-breaking year for Marvel Studios. The movie also broke this year's record set by Black Panther (S$9.7 million).
