Thanks to former Mythbusters co-host Adam Savage, Iron Man is real.

CNET reports that for his new show Savage Builds, a series about extreme engineering, Savage "recruited a team from the science-focused Colorado School of Mines to build him an Iron Man suit made largely from 3D-printed titanium."

Of course, this is only the early stage. If Savage continues to develop his Iron Man suit, it could conceivably become actually functional.
