Oscar winner Jamie Foxx and Teyonah Parris have come aboard the Macro and Netflix sci-fi feature film, They Cloned Tyrone, that will feature John Boyega in the lead. This film marks the directorial debut of Juel Taylor, who had previously collaborated with Sylvester Stallone on the script for CREED II.

The plot of the film follows a series of eerie events that thrusts an unlikely trio (Boyega, Foxx, Parris) onto the trail of a nefarious government conspiracy in this pulpy mystery caper. The screenplay was written by Taylor and Tony Rettenmaier. 

Foxx is currently starring in Netflix’s Project Power with another featured role in the upcoming Disney/Pixar’s Soul due out November 19 while Parris will be seen in the upcoming Candyman reboot set for release October 15.
