John David Washington is set to star in David O. Russell’s new movie for New Regency, alongside Birds of Prey's Margot Robbie and Christian Bale of The Dark Knight trilogy.

The movie is yet to have a title but it was reported that filming will commence in Los Angeles in January.

Washington, whose bigscreen breakout was in Spike Lee's BlackKklansman, is currently onscreen starring in the Christopher Nolan-directed Tenet. He also stars with Zendaya in the drama made in quarantine, Malcolm & Marie, which Netflix recently acquired.
