The concert presents orchestral renditions of the original soundtracks of the games, with oversight and approval from the games’ developers and composers.
The symphony, held at the Grand Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, will include a 56-piece orchestra, 20-person choir and a reimagined score that draws from requested Zelda games, namely The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D as well as classics such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The concert will feature original music from Nintendo composers, including Koji Kondo, recalling moments of Link - the games’ iconic protagonist - conquering dungeons and running through forests.
