Move over, Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2, there's a new big achiever in town.

The studio behind the hit-maker has officially announced Marvel Studios' Deadpool and Wolverine is now the highest grossing title of 2024 in Singapore, with a box office of over S$6.7M!

This is the best performing title in the Deadpool franchise – Deadpool (2016) ended its run with an impressive S$6.28M, while Deadpool 2 (2018) raked in S$5.29M at the box office.


 
In addition to this feat, Deadpool and Wolverine has also garnered the following achievements:
  • Second film after Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 to exceed S$6M in 2024
  • Highest grossing live-action title since Barbie in July 2023
  • Still in second place in its 6th week of release
The film was released on 25 July to much anticipation and hype, with fans’ excitement and joy surrounding the surprise cameos and Easter egg moments providing the movie with social buzz and plenty of online conversations.
