Veteran actor Hiroyuki Sanada will star in an undisclosed role in Lionsgate’s John Wick: Chapter 4 opposite Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama and Shamier Anderson!

The Japanese-born actor has starred in over 50 films with the most recent being Netflix’s Army of the Dead and Mortal Kombat. He is also known for playing Musashi on HBO’s Westworld and will next star in Bullet Train opposite Brad Pitt. 



John Wick: Chapter 4 is set for US theatrical release on May 27, 2022. Directed by Chad Stahelski from a screenplay by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, the film is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Stahelski and executive produced by Reeves and Louise Rosner.

Filiming will begin later this year on location in France, Germany and Japan.
