Located next to Paya Lebar MRT station, the new Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ) mall houses over 200 shops, including a cinema! The new space has 12 screens, the most of any multiplex in the eastern part of the island.
The brand new theatre is Shaw Organisation's ninth cineplex, comprises an IMAX with Laser screen, which promises sharper images, two Lumiere halls (premium moviegoing experience offering reclinable seats) and 9 regular cinema halls.
In celebration of the opening of
Shaw Theatres Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ)
, Shaw Theatres is giving away
500 movie tickets
on 4th September, Wednesday!
If you don’t happen to be working or in studying school this coming Wednesday, why not head down to the newly-opened mall, Paya Lebar Quarter in the morning to get your hands on some free movie tickets! Tickets are only valid for movies showing on 4th September itself, and it’s a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last.
The queue at Shaw PLQ Box office starts from 9.30am, but we’re pretty sure it’s going to be quite insane, considering the recent $54 promotion for a certain mobile phone that went a little too crazy for comfort. And this promotion is limited to a maximum of 2 free movie tickets per customer, so to be safe, you have to be the first 250 people waiting in line, or else your chances for a free 2D movie is pretty slim.
If you didn’t manage to get any free tickets, there are other opening promotions that will run throughout the week,
from 5-11 September 2019
such as ticket discounts, free popcorn and free movie premiums!
There will be special promotional rates for a limited time period for Lumiere tickets at $15 (usual price $18) off-peak and $20 (usual price $23) peak for 2D tickets; and $18 (usual price $21) off-peak and $23 (usual price $26) peak for 3D tickets.
Shaw Paya Lebar Quarter is the latest cinema hall to pop up in Singapore.
