Wizarding World Digital, a new venture from J.K. Rowling’s Pottermore and Warner Bros., has announced The Official Harry Potter Fan Club, offering fans new features and a paid subscriber option.

The Wizarding World app gives access to a reimagined version of the Hogwarts Sorting Ceremony, in which fans answer a series of questions written by author J.K. Rowling in order to find out their Hogwarts house: Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff or Slytherin. Wizarding World Digital have redesigned the experience for these new platforms, featuring a new augmented reality Sorting Hat.

The app also contains exclusive videos, quizzes, Trivia Tuesday features, secret codes giving access to hidden content and a new weekly fanzine, Wizarding Weekly, summarising recent stories on all things Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts.



The Official Harry Potter Fan Club will be available to access via both the website and app, and will provide fans with “curated experiences from the Wizarding World,” including a Fan Club newsletter, member benefits and the opportunity to subscribe to a paid membership experience: Wizarding World Gold.

The Wizarding World Digital has access to not only original J.K. Rowling content from Pottermore, but also the entire Warner Bros. archives and rights for the fans, both old and new.

The Wizarding World app can be downloaded in initial territories on iPhone and Android, with select experiences also available at WizardingWorld.com.
