Take note: Vanguard 《急先锋》, Detective Chinatown 3 《唐人街探案3》, The Rescue 《紧急救援》and Jiang Zi Ya: Legend of Deification《姜子牙》are the four movies affected. 

The outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (nCoV) (a.k.a Wuhan Virus) has affected even the movie industry as the four Chinese titles that were supposed to screen during the Lunar New Year have been delayed till further notice.

mm2 Entertainment which handles the distribution of ‘Vanguard’ and ‘Detective Chinatown 3’ released a press statement:

In light of the Novel Coronavirus (nCoV) outbreak, we have just received the news that both movies will be put on hold until further notice. 

Do stay tuned to our social media pages. We look forward to sharing these amazing films with you at a later date. 

We have also brought forward the release date of “A Moment Of Happiness” 《新年泰疯狂》to the 25 January 2020. 

Our hearts go out to all affected and we wish everyone a joyous and healthy Chinese New Year.

Patrons who have purchased tickets to these films will get a refund from the cinemas directly.

We will arrange for auto-refunds and the refunds will be reflected in your statement in 4 weeks’ time.

Box Office and Self-Service Kiosks:
You may head down to the outlet where your tickets were purchased our staff will happily assist to either
1. Exchange the tickets for another movie at a different show time, or
2. A full refund

Your transaction(s) will be cancelled and refunded directly to your bank. This will be reflected in your statement in 4-6 weeks’ time.

Box Office and Self-Service Kiosks
Please visit the theatre where your tickets were purchased and our team will gladly assist for:
1. Tickets exchange for another movie of your choice at a different show time, or
2. A full refund
