SINGAPORE, July 05, 2011 – The Autobots® and Deceptions® have proven once again to be unbeatable as TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON makes history in Singapore by grossing over S$1 million in a single day’s takings and repeating that feat 3 consecutive days in a row.

The Michael Bay-directed mega blockbuster – which opened on June 29 – defeated the previous record-holder Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to become the industry’s biggest 5-day weekend opener of all-time by grossing S$5.1 million in ticket sales.

Making its debut in 3D, this highly anticipated third installment also secured the top 2 positions on the single day ticket sales chart within its first weekend. UIP currently commands the top 5 positions with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen holding the 3rd and 5th spots and Kung Fu Panda 2 at the 4th spot.
