Spider-Man: No Way Home ventures into big new territories that exceeds even the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s monumental Avengers: Endgame. Exploring the Multiverse was inevitable and No Way Home proves that no feat is too big for our friendly neighbourhood superhero (with a little help from his friends, of course).
If you’re still unconvinced that Tom Holland is unworthy of the mantle, his performance in his sixth outing will surely shut down any doubts you’ve had before. If the hero doesn’t pique your interest then the returning villains who come back to play definitely will - we’re talking Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx as a reimagined Electro, Rhys Ifans as Lizard, Thomas Haden Church as Sandman and last but definitely not least - the great Willem Dafoe returning as the manic Goblin in a role only he could perfect.
Worth mentioning are also Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau and Marisa Tomei returning in meatier roles in this sequel that brings an added layer of emotional depth to the film, a level that Marvel fans got a taste of with Endgame.
There isn’t really much to say without giving any spoilers away but we will say this - no matter how inevitable things may seem, how prepared you tell yourself you are, the film still manages to surprise even the biggest of expecting fans.
Undoubtedly the film event of the year, Spider-Man: No Way Home is a satisfying watch for both fans and the general audiences alike.
Be sure to stay till the very end to catch every last drop of what the film set out to deliver. It’s worth every minute.
