Australian Film Festival 2025

Welcome to the Australian Film Festival 2025. This year, Australia and Singapore are celebrating 60 years of friendship and will showcase the long running and deep relationship between the two nations, built on deep trust, shared values, and strong people-to-people connections—nowhere is this more vibrant than in our creative industries.

The Australian Film Festival 2025 will feature a collection of both Australian and Singaporean films.

In celebration of NAIDOC Week, the festival will highlight the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander directors, producers, screenwriters and actors and give audiences the opportunity to learn about First Nations cultures and histories through the genres of documentary, musical, comedy, mystery and drama.

In the spirit of 60 years of friendship, the festival will also feature the works from Singaporean film maker and festival ambassador Eric Khoo who has strong links to Australia, having studied cinematography at the City Art Institute in Sydney.
