Book Your GV Movie Tickets on Facebook!

Together with ihub Media, Golden Village Singapore launched a first of its kind Movie Ticket Booking App on Facebook. The app can be found on GV’s Facebook Page where moviegoers can now book tickets for their favourite movies!

In three easy steps, users are able to:
1) Select the movie and cinema of their choice
2) Create an event where they can invite friends to join them in watching the movie
3) Advance book and purchase tickets for a more convenient movie-viewing experience.

In particular, they are able to ‘Create Event’, ‘Invite Friends’, and ‘Share Event’ features on the App to help create virality, and allow users to enjoy an integrated social experience.


Launched on 25 April 2013, the project took 7 months to complete—2 months in development, and 5 months to perfect User App Testing (UAT). Since then, GV’s Movie Ticket Booking App has engaged on average, more than 1800 Monthly Active Users.
