Vocal pop-rock band MICappella to star in local slasher film!

Local acoustic pop-rock band MICappella not only blown audiences away with their soulful vocals around the world, you will soon see them in the big screens in “The Hospital”, Singapore’s first mandarin slasher genre film.

After placing 2nd at the Sing-Off China, they signed with record label S2S and released their debut album “Here We Go”. They sold out two concerts at the Esplanade and in the midst of their heavy promotions, they have also managed to squeeze in numerous overseas performances including a Taiwan tour and representing Singapore in the “The 3rd Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival” beside the likes of Girls Generation (Korea), Keita (Japan), Sita Chan (Hong Kong) and A-niu(Malaysia).

“The Hospital” a thriller-cum-horror film depicts a group of friends whose fun weekend getaway runs violently afoul in a local hospital. Michael Chua, the 'Hentak Kaki' lead actor will also be starring in a prominent role in the film. This will be MICappella’s first venture into acting although members Peter Huang and Juni Goh have had some small experiences in theatre acting.

Fans might be able to get a small taste of MICappella’s acting in their official music video for their second title song “Suan Le Ba” which has been released just last week on 5th July 2013. This song is recorded in MICappella's latest album “Here We Go” which can be found at HMV, CD Rama,That CD Shop, Roxy Disc and CD Plus.
