Lee Kwang Soo, a popular cast member in one of Korea’s most popular variety show, ‘Running Man’ was here in Singapore for his first ever fan meet in his entertainment career!
Lee marks the third 'Running Man' cast member to land on our little sunny shore, after 'Sparta'
Kim Jong Kook

in February and July respectively.
Widely known as the ‘betrayer’ and ‘giraffe’ in the show, he attributed his height to drinking a lot of milk when he was younger. Standing tall at 1.9m, he admitted that his height made him stand out among the rest, but also gave him a disadvantage while fulfilling ‘missions’ during the game.
(Have you 'Like' our Photo Album of Kwang Soo's press conference?)
During the press conference held at Resorts World Sentosa, Lee mentioned that among all the episodes they had done in the show, he hoped Song Jooki and Lizzy (After School) will be able to appear in the show as guest members. The two celebrities were part of the main cast but dropped out due to a conflict in work schedules.
Though he might be widely seen as the ‘betrayer’ of the group, Lee is rather shy by nature, often bowing and giggling when he was stumped with unique questions posed by the media. His popularity soared when Running Man became internationally known, and during their overseas trips, Lee was so popular that he was given the title as ‘Asia’s Prince’. ‘I am very thankful for the title, but am very embarrassed whenever I hear that’, he said.
When asked to rank himself among the other cast members, he boldly ranked himself 2nd after Kim Jong Kook even though he is considered one of the weaker ones in the show. “Jong Kook is very sensitive when it comes to such things, so I’ll rank him at the top”, Lee continued, gathering much laughter from the crowd.
Before the press conference ended, it wouldn’t be complete without some of Lee’s famous dance moves, as seen in the show. His infamous ‘robot dance’ is so well-received it becomes part of his unique character.
During the fan meet, Lee not only had close interaction with his fans, he even sang and played the piano to show his gratitude towards his fans around the world.
Running Man airs on ONE TV Asia and Channel U.
