[InC-terview] Exclusive Interview with Top Gear Korea host & G.O.D member Danny Ahn!

Top Gear Korea returns for yet another high-adrenaline season with more exciting brand new supercars, epic race battles and guest celebrities like Fast & Furious 6 star Vin Diesel and Luke Evans in episode 4!

InCinemas got to snap an exclusive interview with one of the presenters, Danny Ahn from K-pop group G.O.D! He joins presenter and speed maniac Kim Jin Pyo and first generation celebrity car racer Ryu Shi-won as they promise all the familiar thrills, spills and world-class entertainment!

InCinemas: How did you come to host Top Gear Korea show this year? Are you a car lover or enthusiast as well?

Danny Ahn: I love cars. I have always been interested in cars since young. I’ve been a fan of both foreign and Korean Top Gear shows, so it is fantastic that I got to host Top Gear Korea.

InCinemas: Now that you're the emcee for Top Gear Korea, could you talk about the things you have gained from the show?

Danny Ahn: As a car enthusiast, I love that I get to try out all the cars that I’ve wanted to drive before.

Top Gear Korea Season 4 premieres first and exclusively tonight (Tuesday, 27 August, 2013) on KIX (StarHub Cable TV Channel 518 and SingTel mioTV Channel 309) at 9PM.

InCinemas: Two of your co-hosts, Kim Jin Pyo and Ryu Shi-won, both have experience as car racers. How do you feel about hosting the show with two veteran racers?

Danny Ahn: I’ve known them for a long time and it has been great to learn about cars from the two experienced car racers.

InCinemas: We believe you have tried out many different cars in season 4. Is there a particular one that you like the most and why?

Danny Ahn: My favourite is the Audi R8. It is a fun car to drive and a perfectly built car which gave us a win in lap time.

InCinemas: Could you share with us what your dream car is like? Is there any particular aspect that you look out for in a car?

Danny Ahn: My dream car is a Porsche 911 Turbo. For me, durability is the most important aspect when choosing a car.

InCinemas: You have done rapping, acting and hosting. Which do you like best and is there anything you would like to try in future?

Danny Ahn: I can’t choose one. It’s fun to do rapping, acting and hosting and I hope to be able to continue doing all three in the future.

InCinemas: Top Gear Korea Season 4 will be premiering first and exclusively on KIX and KIX HD in Singapore on 27 August. Would you like to say something about the show to our audiences in Singapore?

Danny Ahn: I hope a lot of you will watch Top Gear Korea. It has its own fun moments and is different from Top Gear, so you’ll find it interesting.
