Rhythm of the Rain is multi-‐award winning Taiwanese lyricist Vincent Fang’s (方文山) highly anticipated directional debut movie feature where it tells the story of two best friends, Vincent and Alan, who meet and fall in love the same girl – Xiao Jie, who makes a living as a doll maker.

Some of the scenes were even filmed in Singapore, such as places in Dempsey Hill, Capella Hotel and Arab Street!

Synopsis
A tragic childhood accident leaves Xiao Jie trapped in a world of silence. To fulfill the void, she immerses herself in the vibrant and animated night market, a simple living as a doll maker. Enter Allen and Darren, upon a chance meeting in the night market, both friends fall head over heels for Xiao Jie …

A movie directed by Vincent Fang (best known for his collaboration with Jay Chou) and tells the story of youthful dreams, love and cultural differences. This touching tale of love and friendship explores the subtleties of human communication and stars Alan Ko, Vivian Hsu and Ginnie Han. This film was partially shot in Singapore.
