About Fly By Night
Fly By Night was co-founded by Tan Pin Pin and Yuni Hadi in 2003 in the name of spontaneity as a 48-hour platform to bring together film enthusiasts of all levels to make a short video in groups of not more than 4 people (and limited to 40 groups every year).
Participants are given a theme on Friday night and submit their completed video by Sunday, where all the entries are shown together "live" with the judges who pick top 10. Participants have included a wide range of people including housewives to teachers to designers to students to filmmakers.

10 films will receive cash prizes of $300 in cash prize and a pair of movie vouchers provided by FilmGarde. The Judges' Choice Awards, announced 'live' on the Sunday evening, are given to the most interesting works made within the limited time and budget.
