Cast of Channel 8 Drama, Disclosed 《揭秘》Share Their Hardest Filming Moments!

Being an actor isn’t easy. Besides the long working hours, one must be able to cry on cue, jump off a cliff and even bare their bodies, For the cast of upcoming Channel 8 drama Disclosed, they well, disclosed to InCinemas some of the hardest moments while filming the drama.
About Disclosed
Disclosed revolves around a group of public relations (PR) specialists who ‘helps high society perform damage control’ and assist them in maintaining a favourable image in front of the public eye. Disclosed is a concept derived from true accounts of social media cases involving internet fraud and cybercrimes.
Disclosed premieres on Monday, 9pm on Channel 8!
Playing the righteous subordinate to team leader Chang Yu (Taiwanese actor Tender Huang), Jesseca admits to having similar traits like Kuang Yun Xiang, a strong-willed and loyal friend who will go to great lengths to help a friend in need.
“She (her character in the drama) is a person who isn’t calculative and will do whatever it takes to find out the truth. I think I am somewhat like that too - I don’t consider too much of the consequences and willing to take the risk,” the actress said.
The drama involved a lot big set-ups like car-chasing scenes and fist-fights action. When it came to selecting the most challenging scene, Liu picked the ‘car accident’ scene as the hardest due to her past experience where she was almost involved in a car accident.
“I never filmed in an action show nor did a scene of a car crash and this time it’s all in one go, there is definitely some kind of danger in filming the scene, and because of my past experience, I found that to be the scariest scene (to film).”
Chasing beside her car was on-screen younger sister, Kuang Yun Jun, played by Tang LingYi.
“ She
(LingYi)
wasn’t scared at all, it was actually exciting for her,”
Was it true?
“Oh yah! I was pretty excited at first, but when the car started to brush against Jesseca’s car, that was when I started to get pretty afraid,” the bubbly actress, Tang recounted.
Another crucial scene which Tang played was when she had to be buried alive.
“I wasn’t that scared to be honest. Previously when I read the script, I thought, ‘Oh, we’re filming this (buried alive) scene today. Alright, not bad, I don’t have any lines’,” she joked.
Up and coming actor Shane Pow who plays the youngest brother of the Kuang family cited his ‘crying scene’ to be the hardest to film.
“I’ve never cried before (in front of camera) and it was rather hard. We did a couple of shots but the first take was good, and I couldn’t cry after that,” he said.
“It was only when I was slapped that all the emotions just came. The slap wasn’t painful, but because of the physical contact that I started to cry.”
This rising hunk is one to look out for. As one of leads in upcoming drama, Served H.O.T. 《烧。卖》 where he stars alongside Ian Fang and Aloysius Pang, Pow admits to having a certain level of pressure.
“I’m very thankful for the opportunity. Served H.O.T. 《烧。卖》 is so-called my first lead show and I’m definitely feeling the pressure and difference. I now have long hours of filming almost everyday and have chunks of lines to remember, but I enjoy going to work everyday.”
