Introducing Digital Xtreme hall - Largest Movie Screen in the Heartlands
Movie aficionados can expect larger-than-life movie experiences with the introduction of Digital Xtreme, an exclusive cinema class at Cathay Cineplex Jem. With Digital Xtreme, movies are showcased on an extra-large wall to wall cinema screen measuring 13.6 meters by 7.3 meters – Cathay’s largest movie screen in Singapore’s heartlands – and presented with state-of-the-art Dolby® Atmos™ sound technology.

Moviegoers can expect to enjoy upcoming titles presented in Dolby Atmos, such as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire; The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug; I, Frankenstein; Rio 2; X-Men: Days of Future Past!

Entertaining in A Green Environment
Jem will be Cathay Cineplexes’ first certified green cinema and eco-friendly products including ticket stubs, food containers, cutlery and napkins will be used. There will also be recycling receptacles located at exit points in Cathay Cineplex Jem for customers to recycle their used consumables such as plastic bottles and metal cans.

Ultima Seats – Best couple seats in the house
A date at the movies is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable activities for couples in Singapore. The all-new Ultima seats is one with houses the widest seat width, providing an unparalleled level of comfort and privacy. Priced at an additional dollar from the normal ticket price, the Ultima seats are featured at the last row in seven of the ten cinema screens at Jem and are sold in pairs.
