Singer-songwriter Qu Wanting Writes A Song For her Bullies!

Singer-songwriter Qu Wanting 曲婉婷 was also a victim of cyber-bullying and stands up against these people with her songs.
During her music showcase last Sunday at Zouk, the Chinese born singer revealed that she was a victim of cyber-bullying a few years back and decided to write a song inspired by her own experience and even written another for the bullies.
Speaking in fluent English as she is based in Vancouver, Qu said, “They based on my face or what I wear and make comments about me; and some of them were really nasty.” Fans cheered for the 30-year-old singer as she recounted the story. Apart from that, she even wrote a song specially for her bullies, with the song title ‘STHU’ (Shut The Hell Up).
"They were really nasty but I forgive them. Forgiveness is the best weapon to make peace', she added.
Qu Wanting became a household name when she rose to stardom last year with her first album Everything In The World. Best known for her debut “Drenched” and “You Exist In My Song” which were both featured in Hong Kong film romantic comedy Love in a Puff, the songbird turned into an overnight sensation. Her songs have since been covered by many – from a promising contestant in The Voice of China to the live band at your local street bar.
Her song ‘Love Ocean’ from her recent Say The Words album was also the no.1 downloaded single on music portal - AMPed.
