Other highlights include Mary Is Happy, Mary Is Happy, Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita and Til Madness Do Us Part.

Mary Is Happy, Mary Is Happy is a narrative based on 410 real tweets by an anonymous Thai girl, produced by the Biennale College-Cinema, a higher-education workshop open to young filmmakers from around the world.

Although La Dolce Vita didn’t screen at the recent Venice Film Festival, it is the 1960 classic of Fellini’s work and this will be a special version that was restored in 2010. Til Madness Do Us Part is one of the three Southeast-Asian films that will be screened at the festival. This documentary is clocked at 228mins (over 4 hours long) and tells a story of 50 men in an isolated asylum.

Gracing the opening night at the National Museum of Singapore is special guest Nicolo Bassetti, the man behind the idea for Sacro GRA and the film’s screenwriter. He will also be greeting audiences on the 3rd, to give a short talk about his experience before the film’s screening.
