Weekly Trailers Roundup!

03 Jul 2014 (Thursday)
In this week's trailers round-up, here are four new trailers you've got to watch! Some, by the looks of it are already making it to our 'must-see movie' list!
St. Vincent
Director: Theodore Melfi
Cast: Bill Murray, Melissa McCarthy, Naomi Watts, Jaeden Lieberher
Bill Murray plays Vincent, the coolest neighbour we always wanted. Oliver (Newcomer Jaeden Lieberher) is thrown to Murray by single-mom Melissa McCarthy for him to babysit while she heads to work. What seems like a unlikely friendship turns to a funny, touching story of love and acceptance.
Scene-stealer: Naomi Watts - her comedic performance as a pregnant stripper with a hilarious Russian accent... Hilarious!
Horrible Bosses 2
Director: Sean Anders
Cast: Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Jason Bateman,
The story centers on the trio, who decide to start their own business but things don’t go as planned because of a slick investor, resulting in a misguided kidnapping scheme. Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston, both of whom played the roles of the bosses in the previous movie, will be joining the cast once again.
Scene-stealer: Jennifer Aniston - raunchy, sexy Jenn An. Need we say more?
Foxcatcher
Director: Bennett Miller
Cast: Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo, Steve Carell
Foxcatcher follows the story of Mark and Dave Schultz, brothers and Olympic gold-medallist wrestlers, who came to be coached by the multimillionaire John Eleuthere du Pont. Channing Tatum definitely gives a performance of his lifetime with his role as wrestler Mark Schultz. Critics praised Tatum's performance when the film screened at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
This is one drama we wouldn't miss.
Scene-stealer: Channing Tatum - This was a hard choice as Carell made a deep impression in the trailer as well, but the last few seconds of Tatum was nothing but impressive.
The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby
Director: Ned Benson
Cast: James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain
This romance drama is not only fast becoming the next 'awwww' movie, the way the film was shot is also gaining Oscar buzz around.
Directed and written by Ned Benson in his feature film debut, tells the story of a couple going through a rough patch and trying to find what Chastain's character calls "someplace good."
The 'magic' is when the film is shot from three perspectives: 'Him', 'Her', and 'Them', to create three totally different films. While not all three will be having a theatrical release, it's a groundbreaking filmmaking idea, the first that has been done.
Scene-stealer: We can't decide for this one. The brilliant filmmaking concept is a clear winner.
