Oh My Gosh, look at (Maxi's) Butt.

In the third instalment of director’s Jack Neo’s ‘Ah Boys To Men’ movie series, ‘Ah Boys to Men 3: Frogmen’, Lim bears it all in a scene with only a toilet plunger to protect his… well, ‘anaconda’ (privates).

“Initially when I first heard about the scene, I was told that I was going to wear a G-string and maybe during the post production they will edit it out. But at the back of my mind, I was thinking ‘what happens if the G-string tears’ or ‘would I have to strip’, so I gave myself some mental preparation and it eventually happened, " said Lim.

“It was hard as I had to hold that (plunger) for about 6 hours!”

When asked if he was pleased with the outcome, Lim answered with a smile, “it's quite a nice butt.”

One thing for sure, Lim isn’t the only one who thinks his bottom looked good on screen. “I’ll give Maxi eight or nine (over 10) because guys seldom have… tight tush. In fact when I saw the scene, I was like ‘Wah, actually his butt not bad ah!’,” said Tosh Zhang who plays Warrant Alex Ong in the sequel.

Joshua Tan added: “I think it’s very bountiful… so I think it’s an excellent tush. I’ll give it eight-and-a-half appoint ten!”

In Ah Boys To Men 3: Frogmen, we see the boys back in army at the Naval Diving Unit (NDU), one of the most fearsome and demanding military units in Singapore.

To make the cut and meet director Neo’s expectation of their physique, the boys endured three months of hellish physical training and adhered to a strict diet to make sure they were deemed ‘fit’ for the role: to look like an NDU trainee.

“My requirement for the actors was to look like an NDU diver. Four-pack is not enough, it has to be at least six-pack!” Neo quipped.

Weiliang is one of the few among the boys who maintained his 6-pack abs, flaunting a bit of his chiseled body during the press conference, while Zhang joked that he had never been so eager and willing to strip for the camera.

And in one scene, Tan and Zhang run topless in the rain, showing off their robust bodies, we’re sure it’s going to send hearts fluttering.

After breaking Singapore’s box-office records with Ah Boys To Men 1 and 2 with a whopping S$14 million for both films, Ah Boys To Men 3: Frogmen might just be the last.

“The last day of shoot was the toughest because we are going to go separate ways after this movie and focus on our individual careers… all of us cried,” said Tan.

“I’ve never cried for any of the other (Ah Boys) wrap, but this one I couldn’t take it,” added Charlie Goh.

For Neo, he will have to see if this movie does well before he starts making plans on a sequel. “Actually, there is a lot of feature in NDU. What you see in the movie is only the combat diver coarse training, but there are more complicated ones (to film).”

As to how much he expects before embarking on a follow-up film, “the more the better” he said wittily.
