Netflix Punches Up a New 'Marvel's Iron Fist' Featurette!

We are just about three weeks away from the debut of Netflix’s next superhero series - Marvel’s Iron Fist.

Earlier this month, the first official trailer dropped and fans around the world (including us) couldn’t wait for more ass-kicking from the martial artist Danny Rand (Finn Jones). And today, Netflix released a spanking new featurette, ‘I Am Danny’ with Jones explaining the backstory of his character and how this new superhero came about. What’s more, additional footage from the 13-episode binge-worthy series!

In the 2:30 clip, Jones explains Rand’s unexpected appearance at his family's corporation, 15 years after being presumed dead; the harsh reality after returning to New York City; and the power of his ‘fire of the fist’.

Marvel’s Iron Fist is the fourth and final piece in Netflix’s The Defenders puzzle - forming a crime-fighting team with Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

The series also stars Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Rosario Dawson reprises her role as Claire Temple, and David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, as the Meachum family heading the Rand enterprise.
