The Singapore Film Society (SFS) is undertaking a special project to release Jess Teong’s BEFORE WE FORGET 当我们在一起 in Golden Village cinemas on 17 November. BEFORE WE FORGET is the sequel to THE KID FROM THE BIG APPLE 来自纽约 (2016).
THE KID FROM THE BIG APPLE made waves last year, both critically and commercially, with multiple festival awards and lots of uplifting accounts of audiences universally moved to tears. The film was the highest grossing Malaysian Chinese film in Malaysia in 2016.
BEFORE WE FORGET continues to follow the story of Gen (Hong Kong renowned action star Ti Lung), who shares a very close bond with his granddaughter Sarah (played by Sarah Tan Qin Lin). They are both joined by Ti Lung's real-lifeson, Shaun Tam, and multiple-award winning Debbie Goh as memories arepreserved, new challenges are faced, and what is perhaps the most severe test of allconfronts everyone in their circle of concern and love.

Director Jess Teong 张爵西, Producer Stanley Law 罗德明, Cast Tommy Tam 狄龙, Sarah Tan陈沁霖, Debbie Goh 吴天瑜, Tan Jason 陈智深, Ling Tang 邓壹龄, KelvinLeong 梁拯康 will be in Singapore 13 - 16 November to promote the film.
